I gave an update on the SEO progress for my cashback website Unbeatable.net here in early January. I mentioned in there that I would repost the search engine keyword placement results again in April but after just checking google’s and yahoo’s UK search results this morning thought I might spread the good news early.

I have achieved these results in part from regularly posting on the wordpress blog element of the site (115 post so far) confirming that the big search engines do love blog posts. I suppose my next goal has to be to get to position 1 in google for all keywords mentioned above and others.

I currently have a bit of an problem with the adwords campaign running for this site which I am trying to get resolved. The kewords & ad variations I was using have been disapproved because of the no gambling or related sites content policy and as there is a gambling cashcack category on Unbeatable.net I might end up having to rely on SEO for web traffic.

I posted previously about the white label cash back website Unbeatable.net I had set up by eDealsUK in November and thought I would give you an update on the sites progress.

I have added 38 blog posts so far to Unbeatable.net, mainly including individual retailer’s current offers and latest deals, and I have been adding relevant current shopping theme posts such as Christmas shopping in December and now the January sales.

I was unsure how long it could take to start getting high listings in the 3 main search engines google, msn & yahoo for competitive phrases related to cashback shopping bearing in mind that quite a few other white labels cashback sites have also been set up, I decided at the start in mid November to try and post at least once every 2 days to give this project a fighting chance in regards of SEO and have noticed a few promising results this week especially in the yahoo search results.

Still a way to go I think, so I will carry on posting new shopping deals on Unbeatable.net’s blog every other day and see where the results are again in April.

The white label website is designed to accommodate good SEO practices by including a wordpress blog, the aim being that as I blog regularly on Unbeatable.net the unique content of the site will become higher than any duplicate content from eDealsUK or the other white label cashback sites launched. The site also features a good back end admin panel which allows viewing of member details, purchases made etc. and the option of editing an area of the sites home page.

I’m looking forward to developing and promoting this cashback site, Quidco’s days are numbered!
