Hello everyone, this is my first post and first experience of internet blogging so bear with me while I trial and error my way through it for quite some time!

My name is John O’Brien which is obvious from this blogs domain name, I’m going to use this blog to write about my experiences in affiliate marketing and life in general, so if you think hearing my ramblings on a regular basis could be interesting to you then pop back once a week,

About me - I’m pretty much a novice with little technical skills / ability to code etc so I just play around with dreamweaver for hours till something looks alright!, i’m trying to make affiliate marketing work for a living, I have 2 daughters, a partner and a mortgage!

My UK online shopping directory site is starting to take shape, I plan to expand this shopping directory to cover all areas of the UK shopping market. I first made some basic web pages for a directory called searcher.co.uk but I missed this domain name when it dropped so I edited the pages to spendingspree.co.uk which I already owned.

I’ve also set up 2 white label sites discountmobiles.com for mobile phones and bucketnspade.co.uk for cheap last minute package holiday deals I’m unsure about white label affiliate programs in general, so only time will tell if these can work out for me.
