Just had a similar experience with Thomson holidays, booking wasn't the problem, it was trying to make the final payment of a ski holiday i booked online with them.

The 1st call went through to their payment centre in india, the agent taking my call could not find my details from my booking reference, he hadnt got a clue what to do next so i hung up and contacted customer services.

The 2nd went through to a UK call centre, they just kept passing me onto other departments and i finally ended up back at the indian call centre.

3rd call was the same as the 2nd. This happened a few more times, so i tried a different approach. I was so frustrated at this point i decided to cancel my holiday and go else where.

So i made my final call to cancel my holiday and guess what, the agent that took my call processed it within a few minutes. I spent over 2 hours trying to make a final payment.

Thompsons should get a award for the worst call centre's in the UK.
